I can honestly say that working with feet was the last thing on earth I ever thought I would end up doing. But life is full of surprises and my journey has led me to absolutely fall in love with reflexology.
I used to think the best thing about feet was that they meant we could wear nice shoes. Now, when I meet a pair of feet, I’m offered an insight into the life of the person belonging to those feet. From the shape of the toes, to the reflexes that need a bit of TLC, and every little freckle in between, our feet can tell us so much. I find reflexology truly fascinating and love hearing my clients’ reactions to my findings.
I obtained my Level 5 Diploma in Practitioner Reflexology from the Gaia School of Natural Health. This is the highest level of reflexology training available in the UK and has given me the skills and knowledge to tailor each treatment to my clients’ individual needs. My training covered complex areas including Fertility, Maternity, Palliative and Cancer Care and, having used reflexology to support my own fertility journey, I am really passionate about the benefits of reflexology on fertility and women’s health, which are issues particularly close to my heart.
My cosy and peaceful treatment room is based on the outskirts of Wrexham, in the quiet village of Ruabon, with easy access to the A483 for Chester, Llangollen, Oswestry and surrounding areas. I offer evening and weekend appointments as well as a mobile service to allow you to experience reflexology from the comfort of your own home.
Through reflexology, alongside an empathetic ear, my job is to help restore balance within your body to support you through whatever you are dealing with, whether that’s a specific physical or mental health issue, or if you just want a bit of ‘me time’.
